They are used in aircraft and in dairy and food processing industries. Standard ferritic steels contain 10.5-27% chromium and are nickel free because of low carbon content. They are not hardenable and their anti-corrosion applications are less. Martensitic steels contain 11.5-18% chromium and 1.2% carbon and nickel is added sometimes. They are usually hardened by heat treatment and have modest corrosion resistance. They are used in cutlery, surgical instruments, wrenches, and turbines. The products shipped from Om Tubes will have complete marking details. These details are in accordance with the test certificate we supply. In case of orders for cut piece of Pipes, Sheets or Round Bars, the marking is transferred from the product from which it is cut. In such cases we provide a letter confirming the marking transfer and picture of the product from which it is cut.

But still they are following steps:

1. Step one is to melt the metal including, alloy and non-alloy into an electric arc furnace and later on adding the chemical energy like carbon, ferrosilicon, oxygen or fuel gas mixtures to speed up the process

2. After the melting process is done. The melting steel is further processed in AOD which is Argon-Oxygen Decarburization in which the carbon content is reduced and the mixture of Argon and Oxygen is added.

3. If we need the low amount of Argon and oxygen then melted steel is added to the VOD which is Vacuum Oxygen Decarburization. And then melted steel is poured on the ladle
