Consequently, our clients recommend us to other prospectors which itself is enough to prove our transcendence in the steel industry.

Stainless Steel Tubes are an integral part of the tubing system. Tube systems around the world involve connections which are provided by tube fittings. Steel Tube is consumed in bulk and provide for onward transmission of liquids and gases.

Tubes are designed keeping four aspects in mind:

Stainless Steel Tubes are designed to have the highest Pressure rating, which defines the maximum pressures the tube is designed to withstand. Stainless Steel Tubes are also designed to have a high vacuum which is the maximum vacuum pressure that can be created in the tube. Stainless Steel Tubes are designed on bend radius. The minimum bend radius is a rating based on the acceptable amount of deformation the tubing cross-section can undergo. And finally, the most important aspect is the Temperature range, which defines the full range of various temperatures that the tubing is designed to operate within. Tubes can be connected to tube fitting by swaging the ferrule to the nuts and tubes.

Stainless Steel basically is an alloy of Iron with a minimum 10.5% of Chromium in it. The Chromium produces a thin layer of oxide on the surface of the steel known as the ‘passive steel’ and hence the “Stainless” appearance. Increasing the amount of Chromium increases the resistance against the corrosion of the steel. Along with Chromium, Stainless Steel also contains varying amounts of Carbon, Silicon and Manganese. Other elements such as Nickel and Molybdenum may be added to impart other useful properties such as enhanced sturdiness and increased corrosion resistance. As an element, Stainless steel is 100% recyclable, corrosion-resistant, conserving-free, tenacious and hygienic.

The stainless steel family tree has several branches, which may be differentiated in a variety of ways, e.g. in terms of their areas of application, by the alloying elements used in their production or perhaps the most accurate way, by the metallurgical phases present in their microscopic structures –

  • Ferritic
  • Martensitic
  • Austenitic

Duplex steels, consisting of a mixture of ferrite and austenite.

Austenitic steels have extended as their primary phase (face-centered cubic crystal). These are alloys containing chromium and nickel (sometimes manganese and nitrogen), structured around the composition of iron, 18% chromium, and 8% nickel. Austenitic steels are not hardenable by heat treatment. Stainless steel is an austenitic steel containing 18-20% chromium and 8-10% nickel.

  • Good to excellent corrosion resistance
  • Good weldability and formability
  • Good creep resistance
  • Non-magnetic

Austenitic types have got to the excellent type of corrosion resistance and has the exceptional moulding ability and durability.

Ferritic steels have ferrite (body centered cubic crystal) as their main phase. These steels contain iron and chromium and based on the composition of 17% chromium. Ferritic steel is less ductile than austenitic steel and is not hardenable by heat treatment. Molybdenum may be combined with some grades to improve corrosion resistance. These types of steels are magnetic because of their ferritic structure.

  • Low Carbon and Nickel content
  • Good Weldability and Toughness
  • Magnetic

Martensite steels are low carbon steels built around the Type 410 composition of iron, 12% chromium, and 0.12% carbon. They may be tempered and hardened. Martensite gives steel great hardness, but it also reduces its toughness and makes it brittle, so few steels are fully hardened. These grades contain no, or small, amounts of nickel and molybdenum is seldom added. Adding some nickel and reducing the carbon content improves the poor weld ability of martensite grades

  • High Strength.
  • Formidable Wear-Resistance.
  • Low Corrosion Resistance.

Applications of Stainless Steel Tubes Manufacturers:

  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Oil and Gas Industries
  • Paper Mills
  • Plumbing
  • Food and Sanitary Departments
  • Research and development Departments
